City Slickers Ranch is a tiny little farm where God blesses our busy family daily with lots of entertaining antics from our fur children. Our adult dogs range from 7 lbs to 28 lbs. I specialize in the "Teapot Miniature Australian Shepherds" aka North American Shepherd who will mature at under 12 lbs. I have some great champion line minis also. Since nothing is a better companion to a North American Shepherd (Miniature Australian Shepherd) than a Ragdoll Cat, I raise a few litters of kittens to socialized with the pups. There is nothing cuter than a Ragdoll kitten and lovely pup snuggled up together for a nap.
Many children come to City Slickers Ranch for horseback riding lessons while others come to see the most wonderful dogs in the world i.e. lap size North American Shepherd aka Toy Australian Shepherds and of course the larger lovely miniature size also. I have collected my champion lines from all across the country and work tirelessly to breed for the "perfect toy" with extreme type and intelligence. I do health clearances on all my adults.
I am in daily contact with the best toy breeders in the country as we work together for the common good of this magnificent breed sharing health data, pedigree information, etc. Together we have carried our toys into the show rings from Coast to Coast taking "Best in Show" at nearly every stop when our dogs are shown against other breeds. This journey has been a 30 year long one for many and I want to thank the breeder that have diligently and tirelessly worked for this breed. Collectively these breeders have forever changed my
life through the fur children they sold me. The day one of my Veterinarians (who likewise spends weekends at dog shows showing other breeds) said to me "I can now say I have finally seen the perfect pet, a Toy Australian Shepherd" was the day I knew my dogs likewise would be changing the lives of many for years to come.

A dog had followed his owner to school. His owner was a fourth grader at a public elementary school. However, when the bell rang, the dog sidled inside the building and made it all the way to the child's classroom before a teacher noticed and shooed him outside, closing the door behind him. The dog sat down, whimpered and stared at the closed doors. Then God appeared beside the dog, patted his head, and said,
'Don't feel bad fella'
they won't let ME in either'..
