Miniature American & Australian Shepherds for Sale
City Slickers Ranch is a tiny little ranch where God blesses our busy family daily with many entertaining antics from our fur children. Our adult dogs range from 11 lbs. to 35 lbs.
I have bloodlines that will produce from 11 to 35 lb. full‑grown fur children. As a breeder, I specialize in both Miniature and Toy Australian Shepherd Puppies, aka Miniature American Shepherds.
I have great champion Miniature American Shepherd sizes also. Since nothing is a better companion to a Miniature Aussie/Miniature American Shepherd than a Ragdoll Cat, we have a few of those we rescued running around the ranch.

I have collected my champion bloodlines from all across the country and work tirelessly to breed for the "perfect toy size" with extreme Aussie type and intelligence. My larger minis are just as lovely. I do health clearances on my adults, and I am in frequent contact with some of the best breeders in the country as we work together for the common good of this magnificent breed sharing health data, pedigree information, etc. Together we have carried our fur kids into the show rings from Coast-to-Coast, taking "Best in Show" at nearly every stop when our dogs are shown against other breeds. This journey has been a 20-year-long one with this particular breed.
However, it originally began in 1976 with my passion for showing Greyhounds could be bred for family pets instead of just the racetrack. This led to many successful family stories that encouraged dog lovers to adopt Greyhounds from the track to give them a loving, family-style home.
I will be forever grateful to the show breeders who sold me my first pups, as my life was forever changed through those fur children.
The day one of my Veterinarians (who likewise spent weekends at dog shows showing her breed) said to me, "I can now say I have finally seen the perfect pet, a Toy Australian Shepherd" was the day I knew my dogs likewise would be changing the lives of many for years to come.

Incidentally, this breed has almost zero "doggy odor" and is a very light shedder.

A dog had followed his owner to school. His owner was a fourth-grader at a public elementary school. However, when the bell rang, the dog slid inside the building and made it all the way to the child's classroom before a teacher noticed and shooed him outside, closing the door behind him. The dog sat down, whimpered, and stared at the closed doors. Then God appeared beside the dog, patted his head, and said,
'Don't feel bad, fella.'
